First impression of Águilas
Águilas sits at the southern end of Murcia’s coastline, close to the Almería border, and feels more like a real coastal town than a purpose-built resort. The seafront, the port and the hills around the bay give it a recognisable shape, but what many buyers notice first is that everyday life still feels grounded here. There is movement and second-home appeal, but Águilas keeps a strong local side through the year. Buyers often choose it when they want the coast, but prefer somewhere with a clearer town identity and a less packaged feel than some beach-led alternatives.
