Bétera sits on the northwest side of Valencia city, where the metropolitan belt begins to open out into lower-density residential areas and countryside. That gives it a different feel from the tighter urban towns nearer the capital. Buyers often come to Bétera when they want more space, family housing and a calmer daily setting without cutting themselves off from Valencia. It can feel more spread out and more suburban than Burjassot or Mislata, but that is exactly what many households want. The nearby Sierra Calderona backdrop also gives the area more breathing room than the flat city belt.
