A first feel for this place
Blanca sits in the Ricote Valley, where the Segura, orchards and surrounding hills give the town a more sheltered and recognisable feel than much of inland Murcia. It can feel scenic, but it is still a real working town with a local rhythm, not just a place people pass through. Buyers are usually drawn to Blanca when they want a quieter setting that still has a clear centre and a sense of everyday life. Compared with flatter inland towns, it often feels softer, greener and a little more tucked into its landscape.
