A first feel for this place
Los Alcázares sits on the western side of the Mar Menor and is one of the easiest coastal places in Murcia province to imagine in everyday use. The flat seafront setting, the promenade and the more walkable layout give it a lighter and more open feel than many inland towns. It does attract second-home buyers, but it is not only seasonal. Many people choose Los Alcázares because it offers a simple coastal routine with services, a recognisable centre and a less pressured feel than larger resort markets.
