Torrevieja is one of the biggest coastal markets in southern Alicante and feels much more like a full city than a small resort town. The salt lakes, the long urban seafront and the very international resident base give it a distinct identity within the Costa Blanca. Buyers usually choose Torrevieja when they want services, movement and a coastal setting that stays active well beyond summer. Compared with Guardamar or Pilar de la Horadada, it feels denser, busier and more urban from the start.
