First impression of Sorbas
Sorbas sits inland from the Levante coast and often appeals to buyers who want east Almería to feel more local and less exposed than the shoreline towns. The surrounding dry landscape and the karst area give it a very recognisable setting, but the town itself stays modest and grounded. Buyers usually come here when they want a quieter base with some character, while keeping Mojácar, Garrucha and the coast within workable reach. Compared with those coastal markets, Sorbas feels less polished and more rural, which is often exactly the point.
