First impression of this province
Almería lies to the south of Murcia and feels a little wilder and more open than some other coastal provinces. Parts of the coastline are still relatively quiet compared with busier stretches of the Mediterranean, and inland areas move quite quickly into semi-desert landscapes and simple village life. Because CasaViva Costa is focused on Costa Blanca South and Murcia, Almería often appears as a neighbouring option rather than a core area. For some buyers it can still be interesting as a comparative reference: more space, a drier climate and, in some places, lower prices.
