First impression of Tabernas
Tabernas is one of the most distinctive places in Almería because the desert landscape shapes the feel of daily life almost immediately. Even so, it is not only a place people recognise from film history. It is also a real inland town with a local rhythm, clear road access to Almería city and a setting that feels dry, open and very different from the coast. Buyers are often drawn here when they want space, landscape and something less standard than the province’s beach markets. Compared with the coast, Tabernas feels harsher and quieter, but also very clear in what it offers.
