A first feel for this place
Tahal sits between the Filabres mountains and the Tabernas side of inland Almería, and it feels a little more connected than the tiniest villages around it. The Chercos river valley and the routes toward Macael, Uleila and Tabernas give it a broader hinterland than places that sit deeper in the range. Buyers often look at Tahal when they want a small inland town with a clear centre but still want the wider interior to feel usable. Compared with Benitagla or Velefique, it feels less isolated. Compared with the coast, it remains very much an inland choice.
